The ThermoTux® Helmet Cooler is a new option for soldiers to have additional cooling beyond what they get from the Cool Vest, or to provide an alternative when they are in situations where the Cool Vest isn’t practical (e.g. in combat in the desert).

The Helmet Cooler was designed by a soldier for other soldiers. It precisely fits helmets, hooking in with simple velcro straps. It can be soaked in water separately, or while it is still attached the helmet can be filled with with water. Besides cooling, it has the added benefit that it adds extra padding to the helmet to prevent “helmet head” from hours of wear.

Note: the current version of the helmet cooler has been specifically designed to fit military helmets, but other versions (construction helmet, motorcycle helmet, bicycle helmet, etc.) are in development (or could be special ordered).
